In 2025, Ginza Tomato will launch its newest serum.
While conventional skin care focuses on caring for the skin's surface and replenishing missing ingredients, iPS serums focus on drawing out the power of the skin itself.
Specifically, iPS serums contain human-derived stem cell culture extracts to help improve the skin's natural condition and maintain its health.
A particularly noteworthy ingredient in this iPS serum is "human (fibroblast/mononuclear cell) artificial pluripotent cell culture acculturation medium.
This is an extract obtained from culturing fibroblasts and mononuclear cells derived from babies (umbilical cord blood), and works as a skin conditioning agent to keep skin healthy.
Other ingredients include rose placenta, 10 types of plant stem cell extracts, and ceramide AP (human ceramide).
iPS culture extract
The iPS culture extract produced during the process of growing iPS cells is rich in nutrients such as amino acids, exosomes, and minerals, as well as phospholipids that make up cell membranes.
Ginza Tomato's iPS-R is made by extracting the entire iPS culture extract using iPS cells derived from babies, combining it with rose placenta and plant stem cells, combining advanced science and technology with the power of nature.
What is iPS?
Induced pluripotent stem cells
Because they can be transformed into any tissue in the body, lost bodily functions can be restored by transplanting cells or tissues. For this research, Professor Yamanaka of Kyoto University was awarded the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
