Contains POLA's original moisturizing ingredient, "Yuzu Pomace Extract"*, extracted from the "pomace" (juice residue) discarded during the processing of yuzu citrus fruit from the Shimanto River basin in Kochi Prefecture.

A rich, syrup-like body soap with a smooth texture and airy lather that envelops the entire body in moisture even after rinsing.

Contains moisturizing ingredients: honey, mate tea leaf ferment filtrate, lemongrass leaf/stem extract, and rice ferment filtrate.

Fragrance: Inspired by yuzu tea with plenty of honey.

A relaxing fragrance that blends the refreshing scent of yuzu with the gentle sweetness of honey, creating a rich bath time experience.

From Loss To Beauty is a new project to realize POLA's company-wide code of conduct, "We Care More," and the "Sustainability Policy" established in preparation for the company's 100th anniversary in 2029.

Based on the concept of "transforming what is lost into beauty," we aim to expand the possibilities of beauty and connect to the future of people, society, and the planet by transforming resources that would otherwise be discarded into new value that contributes to beauty, thereby contributing to resource utilization, regional revitalization, and support for primary industries.

This time, we focused on unused resources that would otherwise be discarded during the agricultural production process. We believed these resources might hold untapped potential and challenged ourselves to create new, beautiful value.

In collaboration with industry, government, and academia, we challenged ourselves to extract "yuzu sap extract" using "sap," and developed a product that leaves skin moisturized and healthy.

Kochi Prefecture provided dormant resources, POLA resonated with Fermentation Station's philosophy of utilizing unused resources through fermentation to create a sustainable circular society, and together we worked on extract extraction and product development. Tokyo University of Technology handled the verification and analysis of the extract, resulting in a collaborative effort between industry, government, and academia.
