How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

For those born January 20–February 18 (approximate dates).

The Six-Month Theme | As you change, find new ways to connect

Meeting people expands your sense of what is possible. Jupiter in the 7th house nurtures your relationships with a romantic partner or collaborators, while Saturn in the 3rd helps you develop the ability to put your thoughts into words. Pluto is also moving through Aquarius, setting the scene for a longer, deeper reconsideration of the role you want to play. Over these six months, you may want to make specific commitments to people who suit the person you are becoming, rather than approach every relationship in the same way. Winter conversations could become plans you can act on together in spring.

November 2026 | Your work gives people a clearer picture of you

The Sun in the 10th house and the New Moon around the 9th bring your role at work and your public reputation into focus. You might be given work you are good at, or find that people introduce you differently; either way, what others want from you should become clearer. Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, helping work discussions that have been on hold and exchanges with people farther away move forward.

The square between the Sun and Jupiter in the 7th house around the 18th may reveal a difference between expectations at work and what a client or your partner wants. Asking what they would like you to put first helps you see how to make an adjustment. The Full Moon in the 5th house around the 24th brings a sense of progress in love or creative work. Alongside the pleasure of being recognized by others, you may want to show more of the work or creative expression you enjoy.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Talk specifically about the role expected of you at work and what the other person hopes for. The New Moon in the 10th house and the Sun's square to Jupiter in the 7th house set the scene. The clearer you are about what you are being entrusted with, the easier it becomes to make good use of your abilities.

December 2026 | Working together opens up ideas for the future

The Sun in the 11th house and the New Moon around the 9th bring friends and team activities into focus. A conversation about a project could take off with someone you have been introduced to, or a friend's expertise might spark a new idea. There is likely to be something interesting where people gather. The Sun–Jupiter trine around the 18th connects the possibilities of a gathering with the chance to work together one to one.

Jupiter turns retrograde in the 7th house from around the 13th. Conversations with former clients or collaborators, or someone you were once close to, may return. Alongside the pleasure of catching up, what matters is what you can do together now. Spending time with friends as a couple could also reveal a new side of each of you. The Full Moon in the 6th house around the 24th marks a point of completion in everyday work. You may be ready to put something enjoyable for next year into the calendar.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Introductions and gatherings can lead to something you can actually do together. The trine linking the 11th and 7th houses underpins this theme. Beyond talking about shared goals, getting to know what the other person does well gives you more ideas you can bring to life.

January 2027 | Share what matters with someone you feel at ease with

The Sun in the 12th house and the New Moon around the 7th–8th bring attention to ideas you have yet to announce and feelings you have kept to yourself. Before you make a grand announcement, you can take time to talk with someone you hope will understand you. You may realize that what you really want differs from the easy answer you have given in public. A frank conversation with just a few people can clarify your thinking.

Mars turns retrograde in the 8th house around the 10th. You may reconsider how to move a shared plan forward. Knowing what you want to leave to the other person and what you want to do yourself makes working together more enjoyable. The Full Moon in the 7th house around the 22nd may make it clearer what your romantic partner or someone you work closely with wants. How often you meet tells only part of the story; what changes after you have talked can show you how the relationship is deepening.

Star Signal | Attention level 3/5: A personal conversation can clarify how you want to relate to someone. The New Moon in the 12th house, Mars retrograde in the 8th and the Full Moon in the 7th are the basis for this theme. You may find a way to include your own wishes in your shared plans.

February 2027 | Choose for yourself who you want to become

The annular solar eclipse in Aquarius around the 6th brings a new beginning for you into focus. Alongside a change of role or appearance, what matters is what you want to begin under your own name. Uranus turns direct in the 5th house around the 8th. You could find yourself drawn to something unexpected in love or creative work. Whether it feels right to you matters more than how surprising it seems to other people.

The lunar eclipse in the 8th house around the 20th–21st marks a turning point in what you share with someone and the trust between you. Mercury, which is highlighting income and prices, turns retrograde from around the 9th–10th, so there may be more occasions to check financial explanations and terms. As Mars returns to the 7th house around the 21st–22nd, conversations with the other person become more animated too. If what you want has changed, telling them can help you both see what comes next.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: As you change, intimate relationships and the way you work together may change too. The solar eclipse in the 1st house and the lunar eclipse in the 8th are the basis for this theme. This is a turning point when you can bring your current wishes into a conversation about earlier commitments.

March 2027 | Put a tangible value on what you like and what you can do

The Sun in the 2nd house and the New Moon around the 8th bring income, purchases and the way you use your abilities into focus. Having shown a new side of yourself, you should have a clearer idea of which work you want to accept and what you want to own. When Mercury turns direct in Aquarius around the 3rd, putting your thoughts across becomes easier too.

Venus moves through the 2nd house from around the 26th, drawing your attention to good-quality things and textures that feel lovely to touch. When you look again at something you have been wanting, where you picture yourself using it should matter more than its reputation. The Full Moon in the 9th house around the 22nd may bring an answer about travel or study. There is the pleasure of owning something, and the pleasure of an experience. You may find it easier to choose whichever appeals most to you now.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: What you want to own, and the work you want to put your abilities into, become clearer. The New Moon and Venus in the 2nd house, along with Mercury turning direct in the 1st, underpin this theme. Once you can put your own criteria into words, conversations about prices become easier to move forward.

April 2027 | Put what you have discussed into action together

Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th, both in the 7th house. Projects with clients or collaborators, and plans with your partner, begin to move. The New Moon in the 3rd house around the 6th–7th marks a fresh start in how you get in touch and communicate more widely. Suggesting a specific date could move a stalled conversation forward.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd brings one-to-one relationships together with your ability to explain things clearly. At work, material that answers the other person's questions could lead to a contract or another meeting. In love, you may be able to turn your wish to see someone into a specific invitation. The Full Moon in the 10th house around the 20th brings work results and recognition into focus. This spring, a tangible result may bring home what became possible because you teamed up.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Specific words move plans for collaboration or romance forward. The basis is Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 7th house, along with the trine to Saturn in the 3rd house. There is pleasure in making real progress with someone you find it easy to talk to.

Putting the Six Months Together | Make something real with someone whose strengths differ from yours

If you want to create a project with someone whose expertise differs from yours, one possible plan is to show what you can take on in November, then introduce each other to contacts and share ideas in December. In January, discuss the things you want to address before announcing the project, and choose your roles for the future in February. March could be for working out prices and what you will offer, followed by explaining the proposal to clients in April. A proposal that comes together because you bring different strengths to it may be more interesting than one in which you both do the same thing.

The same is true in love: if you enjoy different things, those differences can give you an idea for your next invitation. You can make one day a chance to enter your partner's world, and another an opportunity to share what you love. Knowing whether time with someone lifts your spirits or leaves you wanting time to think makes it easier to choose how often to meet. Through your actual experiences together, you can develop a way of being with each other that suits the relationship.
