How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Make your own choices, and bring what you love to life

Simply meeting other people's expectations may no longer feel like enough. Saturn's passage through Aries asks what role you want to take and what you are willing to be responsible for, while Jupiter in Leo shines a light on love, creativity and pleasure. As responsibilities grow, you want room for play as well. These six months are about finding a way to have both. The things you try through the winter will give you material for projects and relationships that feel like your own when spring arrives.

November 2026 | Honest conversations move forward with someone you trust

The Sun in Scorpio and the New Moon around the 9th illuminate your 8th house. This is a month to explore the relationship you are building together, or get into the substance of a joint venture. You may learn what someone really intends beyond their outward agreement, and hear something that makes you think, 'Yes, I'd like to do that together.' Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th. A discussion that had stalled, or a conversation about the future with your partner, can find its next chapter.

For a shared purchase or business venture, talking about what each of you hopes to gain, as well as how much you will contribute, makes a decision easier. In love, the things you can talk about in private may deepen intimacy more than how often you meet. From around the 22nd, travel and learning begin to draw your interest. A message that arrives around the 24th could be what turns a trip farther afield into a real plan.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Talk of joining forces can become a concrete commitment. The basis is the New Moon in your 8th house and Venus turning direct in your 7th. Understanding both the goodwill and the terms can give your trust in the other person more depth.

December 2026 | Take a step toward the places you long to go

The Sun moves through Sagittarius in your 9th house, with a New Moon around the 9th. Travel, specialist study and connections abroad become things to look forward to. A hotel you have always wanted to visit, a course that caught your eye, an expert you would like to meet: you may feel like moving 'one day' into next year's diary. The Sun–Jupiter trine around the 18th connects your interest in the wider world with personal pleasure. Taking in art or enjoying food on your travels can become all the more interesting when you give the experience a purpose.

Saturn in Aries turns direct around the 10th–11th. You may feel ready to choose the experiences you need now, rather than simply take up someone else's recommendation. Jupiter, retrograde from around the 13th, rekindles the pleasure you once found in hobbies or love. From around the 21st, your attention turns toward your role at work, so the end of the year is also a good time to consider whom you want to tell about your next challenge.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Travel and learning can rekindle your enthusiasm for something you love. The basis is the trine linking your 9th and 5th houses. This month, choose an experience you will want to talk about, rather than one whose appeal rests on its reputation.

January 2027 | Take on a public role in a way that works for you

The Sun in Capricorn and the New Moon around the 7th–8th are in your 10th house. A new position, a presentation or work that carries responsibility brings your public role into focus. A conversation may open up about taking your experience into your next role. If you make management decisions, you may have a chance to spell out what the business is aiming to grow. If you work within an organization, being entrusted with work in your area of expertise could be a pleasure.

Meanwhile, Mars turns retrograde in your 6th house around the 10th. You begin to wonder whether the procedures on the ground fit the goals you have set. Listening to the practical ideas of the people doing the work should reveal improvements that were invisible in the plan. In your private life, the Full Moon in Leo around the 22nd brings a sense of how love or a hobby is developing. Give the plans you have been looking forward to a place in your life, just as you do your professional achievements.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: As you are entrusted with responsibility, you also find room to change how the work gets done. The basis is the New Moon in your 10th house and Mars retrograde in your 6th. You can develop a way of working that fits the title you hold.

February 2027 | New friends bring something new to enjoy

The annular solar eclipse in Aquarius around the 6th illuminates friends and future plans in your 11th house. You may be drawn to a gathering with a different mix of people, or a hobby could introduce you to more people outside work. For Aries, friendship and romance form a central thread from winter into spring. Start with what you found interesting while you were there. What stays with you may be the person you want to speak to again, more than the number of business cards you collect.

With Mercury retrograde from around the 9th–10th, plans you have not yet made public may need another look. The lunar eclipse in Virgo around the 20th–21st marks a turning point in work and everyday life. You may also think of changing the way you work so that you can enjoy these new connections. Mars returns to Leo around the 21st–22nd, and an unfinished creative project, or someone who once caught your interest, could stir your feelings again.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: A change in where you belong can change how you enjoy yourself. The basis is the solar eclipse in your 11th house and the lunar eclipse in your 6th. Accepting an invitation could introduce you to a new side of yourself.

March 2027 | Know what you want before you bring it into the open

In the first half of the month, the Sun is in your 12th house, joined by the New Moon around the 8th. There is time to quietly develop work or ideas you have not yet shown anyone. After a lively spell of socializing, you can see which conversations you really want to take further. As Mercury turns direct around the 3rd, exchanges with friends and your team begin to fall into place, and the way ahead for your plans should become clearer.

When the Sun enters Aries around the 20th–21st, you feel like making the first move yourself. You might change your look, step forward as the face of a project or contact someone you would like to see. The Full Moon in Libra around the 22nd may also reveal what the other person wants. Whether in love or at work, a future you had been imagining on your own can become something the two of you discuss. Mars and Jupiter are still retrograde, so among the pleasures you tried through the winter, the ones you want to continue into spring are becoming clearer.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: When you say what you want, the other person responds. The basis is the Sun's entry into Aries and the Full Moon in your 7th house. Once you have heard their reply, choosing where to invite them next should be easier too.

April 2027 | Give what you love a confident start

Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th, both in Leo in your 5th house. Momentum returns to love, creativity and hobbies. You may find more occasions to show how you feel: presenting a project you have thought over many times through the winter, inviting someone out with a clear plan or showing others what you have been learning. The New Moon in Aries around the 6th–7th is another moment to reveal a new side of yourself.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd brings pleasure and responsibility together. You could make an event based on your hobby a regular occasion, pitch your creative work as a professional project or turn a promise with your partner into plans further ahead. Loving what you do helps you think about ways to keep doing it. From around the 20th, your interest moves toward income and the things you own, and the value you want to place on your abilities and time becomes more concrete. This is a month to let the response you receive in spring inform your next choice.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: The pleasure you take in what you do becomes part of your appeal. The basis is Mars and Jupiter turning direct in your 5th house, and the trine with Saturn in your 1st. You could find another setting for something that gets a warm response.

Putting the Six Months Together | Let other people enjoy a project of your own

Suppose you want to hold a small event that draws on a hobby. You could use the material gathered on your travels or while enjoying the arts in December to make a trial version in January. Show it to the friends you meet in February, and you will discover which parts they enjoy. One possible sequence is to refine the content in March and announce a date in April. As you become clearer about the kind of time you want your guests to have, rather than simply aiming to hold an event, the project will take on more of your character.

In love, too, 'What would we enjoy together?' can open a conversation during these six months. As well as learning about the other person's hobbies, you can invite them into the world of things you love. As you fit more into your days, how you feel the next morning should tell you how much activity you can comfortably enjoy. Habits that leave you with energy to spare can help you put your whole heart into what you love.
