How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Your eye for what you love adds value to your work

What you want to own and the kind of work you want to be recognized for begin to connect. Jupiter in the 2nd house highlights income and the pleasure of ownership, while Saturn in the 10th house brings your public role into focus. These six months are less about going without the things you want than about finding a way to earn that leaves you happy with your choices. In winter, you can experiment with prices and how you present your work; in spring, you can look for opportunities to turn your strengths into income. Time spent enjoying romance and hobbies also helps you understand your own taste.

November 2026 | Turn what you love into an invitation

The Sun in the 5th house and the New Moon around the 9th highlight romance and creativity. See the exhibition you have been curious about, show someone your own work, ask the person you like out. You may want to put the pleasures you have only been thinking about on the calendar. As Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, you can pick up where you left off, whether that means expressing feelings you left unsaid or spending time together at home.

At work, a proposal that reveals your personal taste becomes more interesting too. The Sun–Jupiter square around the 18th may expose a gap between the experience you want and the amount you want to spend. Spending on the part you are most looking forward to, rather than making everything lavish, could leave you more satisfied. At the Full Moon around the 24th, time to reflect alone helps you discover what you thought of an experience, apart from other people's verdicts.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Your interest in hobbies and romance grows, and what you want to spend money on becomes clearer. The New Moon in the 5th house and the square to Jupiter in the 2nd house underpin this reading. This is a month for discovering where your own satisfaction lies.

December 2026 | Your skills come into their own, and romance feels fun again

The Sun in the 6th house and the New Moon around the 9th bring more opportunities to use your skills in everyday work. An improvement you explain to someone could be adopted, or you might receive praise for the quality of a service you deliver. The Sun–Jupiter trine around the 18th links that work with pay. Showing where you have improved quality gives a discussion of recognition something concrete to build on.

Venus enters the 5th house around the 4th, adding sparkle to romance and time spent enjoying the arts. Choosing food and outfits for the end of the year could be part of the pleasure too. As Jupiter turns retrograde around the 13th, you may reconsider something you have been wanting to buy. The Full Moon in Cancer around the 24th helps you see what suits you and what you would like to try next. The end of the year can offer more than a busy schedule.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: A sense that your work is going well builds confidence in your own value. The trine linking the 6th and 2nd houses, together with the Full Moon in the 1st house, supports this theme. If you want an improvement you have made to be recognized, a real example can help others see its worth.

January 2027 | Who you team up with changes work and private life

The Sun in Capricorn and the New Moon around the 7th–8th are in your 7th house. Conversations with new clients or collaborators, and discussions about the future with your partner, move forward. Someone with expertise you do not share may seem especially reassuring. Alongside their reputation, notice whether talking with them opens up your own thinking. That can be a useful part of deciding who to team up with.

Mars turns retrograde in the 3rd house around the 10th. You may need to go back over a discussion or change the explanation in your materials. Once you know whether someone objects to the idea itself or simply needs a clearer explanation, the conversation can move forward. At the Full Moon in the 2nd house around the 22nd, an answer may emerge about a price, your pay or something you have wanted to own. In love, a specific promise helps you understand the other person's intentions.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: You find someone to collaborate with and move on to discussing terms. The New Moon in the 7th house, Mars retrograde in the 3rd house and the Full Moon in the 2nd house underpin this reading. Taking a little extra care with an explanation helps a good relationship last.

February 2027 | Bring your strengths together with someone else's

The annular solar eclipse in the 8th house around the 6th highlights joint ventures and deep trust. With someone else's resources and experience added to yours, you may begin to see how to realize an idea that would have been difficult alone. In love, a conversation about your future together could go a little deeper. Alongside the stated terms, what each of you hopes the plan will bring matters too.

The lunar eclipse in the 3rd house around the 20th–21st marks a turning point in communication, announcements and learning. With Mercury retrograde from around the 9th–10th as well, you may have more occasions to reread explanations of contracts or travel itineraries. When Mars returns to the 2nd house around the 21st–22nd, your appetite for finding ways to earn and for shopping revives too. Once you know which parts call for collaboration and which decisions are yours, you can enjoy what working together brings.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: A shared plan gets moving, and the explanations and information you need come together. The solar eclipse in the 8th house and the lunar eclipse in the 3rd house underpin this theme. When you are clear about what to entrust to someone else, you can concentrate on your own strengths too.

March 2027 | A new view gives you ideas for your next piece of work

The Sun in Pisces and the New Moon around the 8th are in your 9th house. Travel and specialist learning draw your attention outward. Somewhere you chose for its professional usefulness could turn out to offer an unexpected personal pleasure. Mercury turning direct around the 3rd also makes it easier to move conversations about shared plans forward.

Venus enters the 9th house around the 26th, adding to the appeal of people you meet on your travels and exchanges with someone from another culture. If you travel as a couple, a trip where you can see the same things and compare your different impressions could be lovely. The Full Moon in the 4th house around the 22nd also reminds you of the pleasure of time at home. Your wish to go farther afield and the comfort of coming back help you decide how long a trip would suit you now.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Travel and learning introduce you to more people and kinds of work that interest you. The New Moon and Venus in the 9th house support this theme. Talking about what you have seen and heard could also reveal a connection that leads to your next project.

April 2027 | Let your results earn recognition you feel good about

In the 2nd house, Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th. You can take practical steps on income, pricing and how you use your abilities this month. The New Moon in the 10th house around the 6th–7th also supports a new role or an announcement about your work. Among the proposals you tried over winter, you may now see which you want to develop.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd links income with professional responsibility. If you run a business or make decisions for one, this is an opportunity to present a price that reflects the quality you offer and explain the reasons for it. If you work within an organization, you may be able to bring the work you have taken on into a discussion of recognition. The Full Moon in the 5th house around the 20th brings joy to love and creativity too. A fulfilling spring includes using what you have gained through work to enjoy yourself.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: You can express in concrete terms the value you want your work to command. Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 2nd house, and Jupiter's trine to Saturn in the 10th house, underpin this reading. The more clearly your explanation shows your results, the easier it is for someone else to consider how to recognize them.

Putting the Six Months Together | Turn a good service into a compelling proposal

If you are developing a new service, collect experiences you admire in November, then try it on a small scale in December and see how people respond. In January, agree on responsibilities with your collaborators; in February, consider whose skills could make a difference to the quality. Travel or learning in March can introduce you to another way of doing things; in April, you can present the service and its price together. Your proposal becomes more appealing when you can explain where someone using the service will feel the difference, beyond simply calling it luxurious.

In your private life too, sharing an experience that moved you with someone you care about gives you more to enjoy together. When choosing restaurants or places to visit, you might include something that suits their taste and something that suits yours. The difference between an outing that lifted your spirits and a plan that left you tired into the following day can also help you choose how to enjoy yourself next time.
