How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Your words set people and work in motion

Finding something interesting is only the beginning: you want to share it with someone and see how they respond. Jupiter in the 3rd house expands learning, communication and local travel, while Saturn in the 11th brings plans with friends and collaborators closer to reality. A few words could lead to work; a short visit could lead to plans for your next trip. Over these six months, you try out ways of getting your ideas across in winter, then join forces with others in spring to develop the projects that received a good response. Uranus in Gemini also stirs your curiosity about presenting yourself in a different way.

November 2026 | Your strengths come into their own in everyday work

The Sun in the 6th house and the New Moon around the 9th bring more opportunities to put your abilities to use. Someone may ask for your help because you explain things well, or a method you tried could catch on across the team. You begin to see what your own ingenuity can do. When Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, it becomes easier to pick up work conversations where explanations went astray, and to follow up on a romantic invitation too.

Venus in the 5th house rekindles your enjoyment of love and creativity. You might meet someone through a conversation about work, then find the conversation taking off as you talk about a creative work you love. The Full Moon in Gemini around the 24th clarifies what you want to do next. As Mars enters the 4th house at the end of the month, you may also have ideas for changing your working environment at home. Choosing tools and a place to work that suit you can make the work itself more interesting.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: People appreciate the improvements you make in everyday work, encouraging you to offer your next idea. The New Moon and Mercury turning direct in the 6th house, together with the Full Moon in the 1st, support this theme. Explaining what you do well to someone else could reveal a new use for it.

December 2026 | A good conversation takes a relationship a step further

The Sun in the 7th house and the New Moon around the 9th spotlight one-to-one relationships. Conversations with clients and creative collaborators matter at work; in your personal life, those with a romantic partner take on more importance. Around the 18th, the Sun's trine to Jupiter in the 3rd house brings conversation and cooperation together. An idea mentioned in passing could prompt someone to say, 'I'd like to hire you for that,' while a chat with your partner might settle the dates for a trip.

As Jupiter turns retrograde around the 13th, you may return to an earlier proposal or something you shared publicly. Even an idea that failed to connect before could receive a different response from a new person, or with a different presentation. The Full Moon in the 2nd house around the 24th helps you feel more assured about decisions on pay and purchases. This month, your gift for explaining things can carry the conversation through to what you will be paid, or to specific plans for the two of you.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: With someone you enjoy talking to, you can make an actual commitment. The New Moon in the 7th house and the Sun's trine to Jupiter in the 3rd support this theme. You may feel ready to let the conversation lead to another meeting or a commission.

January 2027 | Build on closeness by sharing your hopes for the future

A New Moon in Capricorn, in the 8th house, arrives around the 7th–8th. You may want someone you trust to hear an idea you have not told anyone about. In a joint business venture, the conversation could focus less on the stated goals and more on what each person wants to make happen. In love, too, you can begin to picture more clearly where you might spend time together and how you might live in the future.

Around the 10th, Mars turns retrograde in the 4th house. You may reconsider how you use your home, or the distance between home and work. Before suggesting a plan that suits the other person, try putting your own wishes for daily life into words as well. The Full Moon in the 3rd house around the 22nd could bring news, or an occasion to show what you have gained from ongoing study. Plans for the near future begin to fall into place, one by one.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: A deeper conversation helps ideas for living or working together take a more definite shape. The New Moon in the 8th house and Mars retrograde in the 4th support this theme. Even wishes you assumed someone close would understand are worth talking about.

February 2027 | More of the world begins to beckon

The annular solar eclipse in the 9th house around the 6th turns your attention toward travel, study abroad and specialist learning. A country or field you would never have considered before might suddenly seem fascinating. Around the 8th, Uranus turns direct in Gemini. You may want to head somewhere new, even changing your look or the way you introduce yourself.

Mercury retrograde from around the 9th–10th gives you time to compare your aims at work with what a trip or course of study would offer. The lunar eclipse in the 4th house around the 20th–21st brings plans for your home or family into clearer focus. Both your desire to go further afield and your feelings about the place you return to become more distinct. When Mars returns to the 3rd house around the 21st–22nd, a destination you researched before, or studies you left unfinished, could catch your interest again.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Choices about travel or study can change your ideas about how you want to live. The solar eclipse in the 9th house and the lunar eclipse in the 4th support this theme. Comparing lengths of stay and possible bases helps bring something you long for closer to a practical plan.

March 2027 | Turn what you know into a strength at work

The Sun in Pisces and the New Moon around the 8th occupy the 10th house. This is a month to bring what you learned over winter, and your talent for explaining things, to the fore at work. Mercury turning direct around the 3rd also helps with procedures in your field and communication with people far away. When people understand the kinds of questions they can come to you with, the work they ask you to do may change. That can matter more than the wording of your job title.

Venus moving into the 10th house from around the 26th adds sparkle to your professional presence and presentation. If you are refreshing your profile or an introduction to your work, include examples that show what you have achieved. The Full Moon in the 5th house around the 22nd also lights up the pleasures of love and creativity. Recognition at work, and time with someone you like: having both kinds of happiness to look forward to makes your spring plans all the more appealing.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: You have an opportunity to bring the knowledge you have been sharing into your work. The New Moon and Venus in the 10th house support this theme. An introduction for others to read becomes more specific when you think about the work you would like them to entrust to you next.

April 2027 | Bring people together in your own words

In the 3rd house, Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th. Communication, classes, meetings and short business trips become livelier. This is a time to put a project plan you rewrote over winter, or a proposal that never went beyond a conversation, in front of people again. The New Moon in the 11th house around the 6th–7th could help you find collaborators or new people to join you.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd connects what you communicate with the team's plans. You might explain the idea while someone else handles the practical work, finding a way to work together that lets each person's strengths count. The Full Moon in the 6th house around the 20th reveals the results of work you have put into action. Even as your diary fills up, giving conversation and concentrated work their own time helps you enjoy your quick mind.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: A brief suggestion can set people and a project in motion. Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 3rd house, and Jupiter's trine to Saturn in the 11th, support this theme. Someone who likes what you have shared could help turn it into reality.

Putting the Six Months Together | Share what you know in a way people can enjoy

If you want to turn your knowledge into a course or a regular series, collect the questions people usually ask you in November, then try explaining the material to someone you trust in December. In January, you can work through the details with a collaborator, and use what you learn in February to fill any gaps. March could be the time to prepare an introduction to it as a professional offering, ready to launch in April. If someone is surprised by a part that seems easy to you, that may be exactly what readers or students find interesting.

In love, too, your way with words is only part of the pleasure: noticing where someone laughed, and what they asked you to explain further, can suggest your next invitation. On days when you have shared a lot, a short spell without taking in more information could help your mind change gears. Leave yourself something you will still want to talk about the next morning, and sharing your ideas can remain a pleasure.
