How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Do more of the work you do well, and enjoy a richer life

You may want more of that satisfying feeling: your skills have made a difference. Jupiter in the 6th house expands the work and everyday activities that draw on your abilities, while Saturn in the 2nd asks you to consider whether those abilities receive the recognition they deserve. As work gets busier, the aim over these six months is to find satisfaction in what you do well, then use what it brings you to enjoy experiences you love. Through winter, you will try different ways of organizing your work and relating to others. By spring, the work you want to continue and the pleasures you want to pursue are likely to become more concrete.

November 2026 | Make real plans for a wider world

The Sun in the 9th house and the New Moon around the 9th put travel and specialized study in the spotlight. This is a month to turn your interest in a place or a subject that caught your attention in October into plans to experience it. When Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, you can pick up conversations about itineraries or courses. Hearing about an acquaintance's experience may help you choose between the possibilities.

The Sun's square to Jupiter in the 6th house around the 18th may bring a moment to compare your wish to go somewhere with your work schedule. Once you know how long you want to stay and the purpose of any meetings, it becomes easier to include both pleasure and work in your plans. The Full Moon in the 4th house around the 24th brings answers about home or family into view. From around the 25th–26th, Mars moving through the 7th house is likely to enliven discussions with a travel companion or someone you are working with.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: An interest in travel or study becomes a concrete plan that takes work into account. The New Moon and Mercury turning direct in the 9th house, together with the Sun's square to Jupiter in the 6th, support this reading. Knowing what you want to experience makes it easier to choose your dates.

December 2026 | Your skills get noticed, and a new role takes shape

The Sun in the 10th house and the New Moon around the 9th highlight your role at work and how your contribution is valued. People may entrust you with different responsibilities, or more requests may come your way that draw on your experience. The Sun–Jupiter trine around the 18th connects what others expect of you professionally with the skills you use every day. When people see the quality of your best work, they may come to you with their next request.

Jupiter turns retrograde in the 6th house around the 13th. You may look back at the methods behind work that went well and choose what to keep using. Perhaps help from a specialist, or a difference in the tools you used, made more of a contribution to the quality than you realized. The Full Moon in the 5th house around the 24th brings a sense of how love, creative work and pleasure are developing. Having someone you want to see, or somewhere you want to go after work, can give the end of the year an extra spark.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: The quality of your day-to-day work earns recognition and leads toward your next role. The trine linking the 10th and 6th houses supports this theme. When you explain the improvements you devised, other people can see more clearly what kind of work they would like to ask you to do.

January 2027 | Bring an exciting idea to life with others

The Sun in Capricorn and the New Moon around the 7th–8th are in the 11th house. A new goal joins the plans you are making with friends or a team. An experience that is particular to you could become part of a project simply because you talked about it. The more people with different roles come together, the more likely you are to discover another use for the same idea.

Mars turns retrograde in the 7th house around the 10th. You may find yourself revisiting roles or schedules with a client or a romantic partner. If goodwill is there but things are not moving forward, agreeing on a specific next step—who will get in touch next, for example—can help. The Full Moon in the 6th house around the 22nd is likely to reveal the results of work or habits you have been developing. Once you understand the pace that suits you, joining a new activity can be a pleasure too.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Get involved in plans put forward by friends or teammates, while also clarifying your role in one-to-one relationships. The New Moon in the 11th house and Mars retrograde in the 7th are the basis for this theme. Once you know what you will do and who will join you, a project that has existed only as an idea can start to move.

February 2027 | What you really want, and where the other person stands

The annular solar eclipse in the 12th house around the 6th illuminates feelings or ideas you have yet to share. Even with a job that others admire, the part you find truly interesting may be quite different from what they value. Equally, something you thought of as a casual pleasure could turn out to be an activity you want to keep pursuing.

Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces around the 9th–10th. You may want to revise a description of yourself or something you have said so that it conveys what you mean. The lunar eclipse in the 7th house around the 20th–21st marks a turning point with a romantic partner or someone you collaborate with. Listening to what the other person wants, and expressing your own wishes too, can help you see what comes next for the relationship. From around the 21st–22nd, Mars returns to the 6th house, and you may find something you want to try again in earlier work or habits.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Understanding what you really want gives you a way to change your commitments to someone else. The solar eclipse in the 12th house, Mercury retrograde in the 1st and the lunar eclipse in the 7th underpin this theme. Your care for others can include your own enjoyment too.

March 2027 | Let people see what you enjoy now

The Sun in Pisces and the New Moon around the 8th mark a fresh start in how you present yourself. Wear clothes you love, introduce people to the work you do best, get in touch with someone you want to see. You may feel like making what you want a little easier for others to recognize. As Mercury turns direct around the 3rd, the ideas you have been nurturing are likely to become clearer too.

Venus moving through Pisces from around the 26th adds sparkle to your style, your love life and the time you spend meeting people. Something that makes you want to go out may be a better choice than something chosen for the compliments it might earn. The Full Moon in the 8th house around the 22nd highlights trust and shared plans with another person. Expressing what you want could change what the two of you decide to enjoy together. A small change in your appearance may even bring something fresh to your conversations this month.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: The more you express your own tastes, the more enjoyable time with others becomes. The New Moon and Venus in the 1st house, together with the Full Moon in the 8th, support this reading. You can show a side of your appeal that never came through when you were simply adapting to someone else.

April 2027 | Turn the satisfaction of good work into a richer life

Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th, both in the 6th house. Ways of working and skills you tried out over winter become useful in your everyday work. The New Moon in the 2nd house around the 6th–7th offers a fresh perspective on pay and the value placed on your abilities. You may want to bring the wider range of work you can now do into a discussion about terms.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd connects the quality of your work with your income. Concrete examples help show its value: an improvement that clients responded well to, or results achieved by sharing the work with a specialist. The Full Moon in the 9th house around the 20th also brings answers about travel or study. Enjoy the rewards of a job well done with a visit to somewhere you have wanted to go or an experience you want to try next. This spring, work and enjoyment begin to connect naturally.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: The results of putting your skills to use give you evidence for seeking recognition you feel is fair. Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 6th house, together with Jupiter's trine to Saturn in the 2nd, support this theme. You are also developing a clearer sense of how to choose work that lets you use your abilities.

Putting the Six Months Together | Do good work and enjoy the experiences you have dreamed of

If there is somewhere you want to go or something you want to learn, explore the possibilities in November, then consider how they connect with your current work in December. In January, talk to the friends or colleagues you would like to involve; in February, revisit what you are really looking forward to. Express your wishes clearly in March, and in April, use what your work has brought you to help make the plans happen. Even when you travel because it will be useful for work, including some time for something you are personally excited about can change what you take away from the experience.

If you are going with a romantic partner, you may have different reasons for visiting the same place. One of you wants to see art; the other wants to enjoy the local food. You can plan an itinerary that includes both. How you feel, physically and emotionally, the day after enjoying work or an outing also tells you how much activity suits you. These six months offer a chance to cultivate both the pleasure of being useful to someone and the enjoyment that leaves you feeling fulfilled.
