How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Explore the world that interests you and go deeper into what you love

Travel and learning begin to offer more than a change of scene. Jupiter in the 9th house broadens your interest in other countries and specialist subjects, while Saturn in the 5th house develops your capacity to give time and care to creative work and love. You might make something inspired by what you see, use your travel experience at work, or find someone you would love to travel with. Over these six months, the inspiration you find out in the world becomes part of your own enjoyment. Winter helps you choose where to go and why; spring looks likely to bring more opportunities to experience it for yourself.

November 2026 | Develop an idea you have yet to show anyone

The Sun in the 12th house and the New Moon around the 9th highlight preparations before you bring something into view. This is a time to make what you want to show next, rather than time set aside simply to avoid seeing people. Private work could become absorbing: an old notebook might spark an idea, or you may choose to talk it through only with someone you trust. As Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, contact with friends looks likely to pick up again too.

The Full Moon in the 7th house around the 24th brings another person’s intentions into clearer view. Someone may offer specific help with the idea you have been developing. When the Sun enters Sagittarius around the 22nd, you feel more inclined to get out into the world yourself. From the end of the month, you also have more energy to act at work, and deciding who should see what you have prepared—and in what order—could become something to look forward to.

Star Signal | Attention level 3/5: You could find someone to talk to about an idea you have been developing privately. The New Moon in the 12th house and the Full Moon in the 7th house underpin this theme. Talking with just a few people gives you room to hear frank reactions to an idea that is still taking shape.

December 2026 | Share the world you love with confidence

The Sun in Sagittarius and the New Moon around the 9th mark a fresh start for you personally. You may want the parts of yourself that other people see to reflect who you are now, whether through a new title, a new way of dressing or the way you introduce a project. The Sun–Jupiter trine around the 18th connects your growth with travel and learning. What you can talk about from experience becomes part of your appeal.

Jupiter turns retrograde in the 9th house around the 13th. You can return to an earlier travel or study plan and choose what you would like to understand more deeply now. Even a city you have visited before can feel fresh when you go with a different purpose. The Full Moon in the 8th house around the 24th highlights sharing and trust with someone close. Talking about what you hope to do may bring forward someone who would like to join you or help make it happen.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Your experiences of travel and learning become a strength when you introduce yourself. The New Moon in the 1st house and the trine linking the Sun with Jupiter in the 9th house are the basis for this. What surprised you personally is likely to interest someone more than knowledge you have simply borrowed.

January 2027 | Let your experience shape the terms of your work

The Sun in the 2nd house and the New Moon around the 7th–8th highlight income and abilities. The question is what kind of work you want to do with the knowledge and skills you have acquired. Something that used to be a hobby could become a specialist subject people ask you about. Picture the person who could benefit from your experience, and your proposal becomes more specific too.

Around the 10th, Mars turns retrograde in the 10th house, prompting a fresh look at your position or how you run a business. Even if a role is prominent, asking how much freedom you would actually have to make decisions helps you choose with confidence. The Full Moon in the 9th house around the 22nd highlights the results of travel and learning. An occasion to explain what you have learned or present an idea you brought back from a trip could lead to further recognition.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Bring the value of what you have learned into conversations about pay and responsibilities. The New Moon in the 2nd house, Mars retrograde in the 10th house and the Full Moon in the 9th house underpin this theme. Showing what you can now do makes it easier for someone to ask for your help.

February 2027 | Your words and where you go change the direction of your work

The annular solar eclipse in the 3rd house around the 6th marks a turning point in communication, learning and local travel. You may have more occasions to explain something to people, or the places you visit regularly could change. Uranus turns direct in the 7th house around the 8th, and there may be unexpected developments involving the people you talk or work with.

The lunar eclipse in the 10th house around the 20th–21st brings decisions and recognition at work into focus. A single presentation or meeting could lead to your next role. During Mercury retrograde, plans involving your home or base may also need adjusting. When Mars returns to the 9th house around the 21st–22nd, your enthusiasm returns to an earlier travel or study plan. This month, a conversation close to home could give definite shape to an idea for going farther afield.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Everyday communication and meetings could lead to a turning point at work. The solar eclipse in the 3rd house and the lunar eclipse in the 10th house are the basis for this. Notice which words draw a response: they can help you decide how to introduce something or shape your next proposal.

March 2027 | Bring the pleasures you discover back home

The Sun in the 4th house and the New Moon around the 8th highlight your home and time with people close to you. Bring something you loved on a trip into your home, recreate a favorite meal, invite friends over. Experiences from elsewhere look likely to find a continuing place in everyday life. When Mercury turns direct around the 3rd, arrangements for keeping in touch and making short trips begin to fall into place too.

Venus enters the 4th house around the 26th, turning your attention to the beauty of your rooms and the pleasure of being at home. Cooking with your partner or listening to music you love could be particularly appealing. The Full Moon in the 11th house around the 22nd gives plans with friends a more definite shape. As home becomes more comfortable, thinking about your next trip can feel good too.

Star Signal | Attention level 3/5: Home becomes a place to enjoy again the pleasures you have discovered elsewhere. The New Moon and Venus in the 4th house underpin this theme. Thinking about who you would like to spend time with there helps you see what you would like to add to everyday life.

April 2027 | Travel, love and creative work find a place in the same plans

Mars turns direct in the 9th house around the 1st–2nd, followed by Jupiter around the 13th. Plans to visit a place you have wanted to see or pursue a course of study begin to move forward. The New Moon in the 5th house around the 6th–7th marks a fresh start in love and creative work. Pleasures that once belonged to separate plans could come together: traveling with someone you love, perhaps, or taking a research trip for something you are making.

The Jupiter–Saturn trine around the 3rd connects travel and specialist knowledge with creative work you keep returning to. Because you tried things out in winter, you have a clearer idea of what you want to see this time and how you want to use it. The Full Moon in the 12th house around the 20th also highlights time to savor an experience privately. This spring, the dates for enjoying yourself may be the first to find their way into your calendar😉

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Travel and learning enrich love and your own self-expression. Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 9th house, together with the New Moon and Saturn in the 5th house, underpin this theme. You look set to enjoy both having the experience and making something of it.

Putting the Six Months Together | Let one trip lead to lasting pleasures

Imagine a trip to learn more about food or art you love. In December, decide what you want to see; in January, research the people you would like to meet there and the skills you would like to use. In February, check the details of contacting people and making arrangements, then enjoy trying things at home in March. If you travel in April, you can already picture what you might make when you return and whom you would like to tell about it. The trip could become an experience that develops your tastes, with pleasures that last beyond the journey itself.

If you are traveling with someone, talk about what you would each like to see separately as well as what you want to enjoy together. Exchanging impressions when you get back could become part of the pleasure of the trip. Experiment with the balance between days with plenty of travel and days spent getting to know one place in depth; you will learn what kind of trip leaves you with the energy to enjoy it. These six months turn your curiosity into experiences you can keep enjoying.
