How to use this guide · Attention levels · Data notes

This guide looks at the six months after the October issue. It brings together each month's central theme and practical perspectives for making plans. Because it follows a six-month arc, its structure differs from the detailed monthly horoscopes. Toward the end of a month, the following month's themes begin to overlap. Use each sign's Six-Month Overview to see how the months fit together, then turn to the months that interest you and the planning examples at the end.

This is Western astrology using the tropical zodiac. It takes a whole-sign approach, counting the Sun sign as the 1st house, to explore areas of life such as work, love, travel and home. Houses represent areas of life as viewed from that sign: the 5th house, for example, relates to love and creativity, and the 10th to work and public roles.

The attention level in each Star Signal is an editorial rating on a scale of 1 to 5, based on overlapping major configurations, the central theme for that sign and how events cluster in time. A 3 marks a theme useful for planning; a 4, one of the month's main themes; and a 5, a major turning point involving several principal configurations. Levels 1 and 2 are also part of the scale, but none of the central themes selected for this guide fall within them. The number does not measure good fortune, danger or the probability of an event.

These readings describe the background for each Sun sign; they do not mean that the same aspects apply to everyone's natal Sun. Unless otherwise stated, trines, squares and other aspects in the text describe relationships between the planets transiting at that time.

Dates use UTC and are given as approximate periods. Your local calendar date may fall on the previous or following day. Birth-date ranges are also approximate: near a sign boundary, the Sun sign may depend on the birth year, birth time and time zone.

The Six-Month Theme | Find the approach that lets you excel at the work you want to do

You may want your work to reach a wider audience. Jupiter in the 10th house expands your public and professional life, while Saturn in the 6th develops the skills and everyday practice that support it. Taking on a bigger role is part of the picture; so is finding where you would most enjoy using your abilities. Over these six months, you try out roles and methods in winter, then put the approaches that brought good results into fuller use in spring. Home life and close relationships also begin to find a shape that fits your new work.

November 2026 | Make it clear how you want to be seen from now on

The Sun in Scorpio and the New Moon around the 9th mark a fresh start for you personally. You may want to make your intentions visible: change your appearance, put a project forward under your own name, or contact someone you have wanted to meet. As Mercury and Venus turn direct around the 13th–14th, what you have been wanting to say should become clearer too. You can choose words that convey what you want to do now, rather than rely on an introduction that suited an earlier version of you.

Around the 18th, the square between the Sun and Jupiter in the 10th house could bring expectations at work that are bigger than you anticipated. Once you know what you are being asked to take on, you will have a clearer idea of what to prepare. The Full Moon in the 8th house around the 24th illuminates a collaborator’s wishes and the terms you share. Making a proposal yourself may help the other person speak more openly about what they really want.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Changing how you present yourself can change the response you receive at work. The New Moon and Mercury turning direct in the 1st house, together with the Sun’s square to Jupiter in the 10th, underpin this theme. Find out what people expect, and you can show them the things you do well.

December 2026 | Show the value of your work through figures and examples

The Sun and the New Moon around the 9th in the 2nd house bring income and recognition of your abilities into focus. Around the 18th, the Sun–Jupiter trine links rewards with your public and professional role. When people can see the difference your work has made, discussions about prices, pay or working conditions become more concrete. If you run a business, you may have a chance to show the quality you provide; if you work in a team, you may be able to point to the results you were responsible for.

Jupiter turns retrograde in the 10th house from around the 13th. You return to ideas about promotion or the direction of your business, with a chance to reconsider which role suits you. Venus moving through Scorpio from around the 4th adds glamour to the way you dress and the time you spend meeting people. Around the 24th, the Full Moon in the 9th house brings an answer concerning travel or learning into view. Your thoughts may reach beyond earning money to the experiences you would like it to pay for next.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Visible results can open a conversation about pricing or how your work is valued. The trine linking the 2nd and 10th houses is the basis for this theme. Something you do so naturally that you hardly think about it may be exactly what someone else values.

January 2027 | What you share brings a specific response

The Sun in Capricorn and the New Moon around the 7th–8th are in the 3rd house. This is a month to make plans for sharing your ideas, learning and meeting people. Summarizing what you know in a short conversation, visiting a work site or asking an expert questions can bring information you can use in your next piece of work. The more clearly you explain something, the more specific the other person’s questions are likely to be.

Mars turns retrograde in the 11th house around the 10th. You may reconsider who is responsible for what in a team project, or revisit plans with friends. Once you understand how keen people are to take part and what work they can actually do, you can change how you organize things. Around the 22nd, the Full Moon in the 10th house could reveal how a presentation was received or what your work has achieved. Seeing where your explanation helped gives you confidence for your next proposal.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: The things you share can bring recognition at work and further requests to talk. The New Moon in the 3rd house and the Full Moon in the 10th underpin this theme. Asking what the other person wants to know can help you make what you share even more interesting.

February 2027 | Consider a home base that suits the way you work

The annular solar eclipse in the 4th house around the 6th marks a turning point in your home or the way you spend time with family. A change at work may make you want to change where you live or how you use your home. A room where you can hold meetings, a base that makes getting around easy, a space to spend time with people close to you: the conditions you need now become more specific.

The lunar eclipse in the 11th house around the 20th–21st may bring answers about activities with your circle or plans for the future. Mars returns to the 10th house around the 21st–22nd, and a former job or a position of responsibility could come up again. While Mercury is retrograde, plans for romance or creative work may be more subject to change. Even while you wait for your work schedule to take shape, you can get specific about what you would like to enjoy at home and in your private life.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Changes in your work and connections influence what you look for in a home. This theme rests on the solar eclipse in the 4th house and the lunar eclipse in the 11th. Picture the people you will see often and the places you will regularly go, and the requirements for your base become clearer.

March 2027 | Simple pleasure returns to love and creative life

The Sun and the New Moon around the 8th in the 5th house shine a light on someone you like and the things that absorb you. You may want to take the initiative and invite them out, create something or return to a pastime you once loved. Your tastes become clearer away from the roles you play at work. As Mercury turns direct around the 3rd, conversations about family and home should also become easier to move forward.

Venus enters the 5th house from around the 26th, strengthening your desire to enjoy romance, the arts and dressing up. You do not need an elaborate reason: seeing someone because you want to see them, or going out because there is something you want to see, feels right for the moment. The Full Moon in the 12th house around the 22nd may reveal feelings you have not yet put into words. Notice how your mood changes after you have enjoyed yourself; that can tell you what kind of time you need in your life now.

Star Signal | Attention level 4/5: Liking someone or something can be reason enough to act. The New Moon and Venus in the 5th house are the basis for this theme. Beyond the person others need you to be, you may find more sides of yourself you want to show.

April 2027 | Find a way to keep delivering good work

In the 10th house, Mars turns direct around the 1st–2nd and Jupiter around the 13th. You begin to take on the roles and move ahead with the projects you reconsidered over winter. The New Moon in the 6th house around the 6th–7th marks a moment to begin new ways of working or new habits. As well as talking about your ideal work, you can focus on how to deliver it to the standard you envisage.

Around the 3rd, the Jupiter–Saturn trine connects your public and professional life with the skills you use each day. Making a process that pleased a client your standard approach, or dividing responsibilities with a specialist, could give you a way to reproduce good results. The Full Moon in Scorpio around the 20th brings your own sense of progress into focus. This spring, you notice changes in the work you want to choose as well as in what people ask you to do.

Star Signal | Attention level 5/5: Improvements in everyday practice can earn recognition in a responsible role. Mars and Jupiter turning direct in the 10th house, together with Jupiter’s trine to Saturn in the 6th, underpin this theme. As your abilities grow, you also have more choice about which work to develop.

Putting the Six Months Together | Propose the work you want to take on, and show how you will deliver good results

If you are aiming for a role with responsibility, show what you want to do in November, then gather results that demonstrate your value in December. Try out your explanations in January, and consider the base and people your future work will need in February. Personal pleasures in March help you recover your own distinctive perspective, so that by April you can make a proposal that includes how you will carry out the work. Alongside saying “You can leave it to me,” showing where you can produce good results makes it easier for the other person to come to you with a specific request.

What you look forward to in your private life also helps you choose your work. Time with someone you like, or an evening spent creating, may be part of what lets you concentrate when you work. Picture an actual week, and you can see more clearly what an appealing job title would involve. Whether you still feel satisfied when the work is done is another valuable part of your decision.
