This product contains DPA in addition to the familiar EPA and DHA.

DPA (docosapentaenoic acid) is considered the "third omega-3 fatty acid" with approximately 10 times the blood vessel repair ability of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). It is expected to have effects primarily on maintaining vascular health (prevention of arteriosclerosis and thrombosis), strong anti-inflammatory effects, and anti-tumor effects (inhibition of angiogenesis in cancer cells). It supports the functions of EPA and DHA, promoting blood thinning and a reduction in triglycerides.

Main effects and benefits of DPA:
Blood vessel repair and flexibility (10 times that of EPA): It has high "migration ability" to repair damage to vascular endothelial cells, contributing to maintaining youthful blood vessels, improving "ghost vessels," and alleviating cold extremities and dullness.

Prevention of arteriosclerosis and thrombosis: It is considered to have a stronger effect than EPA in suppressing platelet aggregation and thinning the blood.

Anti-cancer and anti-tumor effects: It strongly inhibits "angiogenesis," the process by which cancer cells create blood vessels necessary for growth, and its effectiveness in cancer treatment is being studied.

Anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects: It has an anti-inflammatory effect, improving inflammatory dermatitis and chronic inflammation.

EPA and DHA support: It is converted into EPA and DHA in the body and also enhances their effects.

EPA and DHA have been reported to have the function of lowering triglyceride levels (TG levels) in the blood.

Ingesting EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) stimulates receptors in the small intestine, promoting the secretion of GLP-1, a type of incretin. GLP-1 is known to function as a "weight-loss hormone" that contributes to weight loss and the treatment of type 2 diabetes by stabilizing blood sugar levels through insulin secretion promotion, appetite suppression, and delayed gastric emptying.

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is abundant in the human brain and the retina of the eye. It also has the characteristic of functioning directly as a nutrient in the brain and is said to play an important role in maintaining the health of brain cells and eyesight. In fact, there is an experimental result that showed that when 15 people continuously took DHA, 10 out of 15 showed improvement in their eyesight.
