This product approaches blood glucose levels through a dual mechanism. "Salacia-derived neocotalanol" suppresses sugar absorption in the small intestine, while "naringin" promotes the consumption of sugar taken into the bloodstream. These two different mechanisms of action allow for comprehensive management of both "postprandial blood glucose levels," a short-term indicator, and "hemoglobin A1c levels," a medium- to long-term indicator, in blood glucose control.
Salacia-derived neocotalanol suppresses sugar absorption and reduces the rise in postprandial blood glucose levels in individuals with elevated postprandial blood glucose levels.
Salacia-derived neocotalanol and naringin support a reduction in HbA1c levels (an indicator of blood glucose control) that are elevated within the healthy range in healthy individuals with a higher BMI.
Naringin is a type of polyphenol found in large quantities in the peels of citrus fruits such as grapefruit.
