Made in JAPAN
60ml
A medicated introductory serum powered by the ferment of approximately 20 billion microorganisms.* Formulated with Rice Power® No.11, Japan’s first active ingredient recognized for improving the skin’s moisture-retention capacity,** it helps skin produce and store its own moisture—centered on ceramides—for a denser, plumper, more resilient feel.
*Approximate number of microorganisms required to produce the Rice Power® No.11 (Rice Extract No.11) contained in one 60 mL bottle.
**“Japan’s first” refers to an active ingredient approved for improving the skin’s moisture-retention capacity.
The key to moisture is ceramide
Ceramide is essential for holding moisture in the skin. Ceramide levels decline with age. This serum goes beyond simply adding moisture: it supports the skin’s own ability to generate and retain it, addressing dryness-related concerns.
Three points
Supports the skin’s own moisture function, so hydration feels as if it rises from within.
Leaves little room for dryness, for a well-conditioned complexion day after day.
With continued use, guides skin toward a higher ceramide density and a plump, moisture-dense texture.
Rice Power® No.11
Rice Power® No.11 (Rice Extract No.11) is an active ingredient with an efficacy that did not previously exist: improvement of the skin’s moisture-retention capacity. Made from rice and produced through fermentation, it contains dozens of amino acids along with abundant peptides and sugars—a composition that cannot be reproduced artificially. Improving moisture-retention capacity also helps subsequent moisturizing care work more effectively.
The formula is further enriched with moisturizing ingredients, including an acetyl amino acid (N-acetyl-L-hydroxyproline) that helps suppress the formation of so-called “bad ceramides” (patent obtained), and a yeast extract. Penetration is to the stratum corneum.
Texture and scent
A fresh, lightly viscous texture with a calming green-floral fragrance. The alcohol content has been reduced for easier daily use.
Recommended for
Those beginning to notice dryness
Those who want care suited to their age
Dry or dehydrated skin, or skin that does not seem to absorb skincare well
Dryness-related roughness, uneven texture, dullness, loss of firmness and elasticity, visible pores, or makeup that does not sit well
How to use
Use morning and night as the first step after cleansing. Dispense two to three pumps into the palm and gently smooth over the face. Applied to freshly cleansed skin, it helps the moisture of the products used afterward reach the skin more effectively.

[Quasi-drugs]
Cosmetics and quasi-drugs categories
In Japan, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour & Welfare classifies the beauty products under 2 categories: cosmetics and quasi-drugs. Quasi-drugs, in opposite to cosmetics, are medicated, have a mild pharmacologic effect and include active ingredients. If the product is approved as a quasi-drug by the ministry, the manufacturer is allowed to actually claim the effectiveness of the product.
