Varied wing sizes to replicate tapping.
What mattered most was the size of each wing when we attempted to replicate the rhythmical stimulation of professional tapping manipulations. Originally, we began with wings of the same size, but soon learned that the sensation was more like “patting” on the skin than “tapping”. By attempting a variety of sizes and quantities, we finally settled on the alternate arrangement of the positions of two types of large and small wings to produce the desired tapping. This product can also be used for tapping over a face mask.
