From Loss To Beauty Hand Confiture is a fresh, fruit-preserve–like hand serum designed to leave the hands looking smooth and luminously hydrated.
At its heart is **Shinku Extract**, a moisturizing extract developed by POLA from the unused lateral shoots — the leaves and stems — of **Shinku**, a rare red grape grown only in Shimane Prefecture. In local tradition, Shimane is known as a gathering place of the gods, and Shinku is described as a crimson grape offered to them. During cultivation, these shoots are normally removed so the fruit can ripen and color. POLA, Shimane Prefecture, and Shimane University turned that overlooked material into a new beauty ingredient.
The texture is as considered as the story. Pearl-like **melty capsules** of natural agar hold a light almond oil rich in vitamin E and oleic acid. As you smooth the serum over the hands, the oil melts out and settles into a soft, non-greasy veil that helps lock in moisture. Two forms of hyaluronic acid blend in without stickiness, and ginseng root extract is included among the moisturizing ingredients.
The scent is a quiet Earl Grey, with a faint note of grape — relaxing, never heavy.

### How to use
After cleansing the hands, take about a pearl-sized amount and massage it in. If the skin feels dry, apply another layer. Adjust the amount to the condition of the skin.
